Russia hosts ‘One Kilogram of Fly Wings’

Artdocfest Russian Open Documentary Film Festival has hosted Iranian short ‘One Kilogram of Fly Wings’.

Directed by Reza Sobhani, the film was screened at the 2019 edition of the Russian event.

‘One Kilogram of Fly Wings’ examines the Iranian problems and disadvantages of marriage conditions such as people who have been imprisoned for being unable to afford the mandatory payment they have to pay to the bride in case of a divorce.

Produced by Documentary and Experimental Film Center, ‘One Kilo of Fly Wings’ depicts people who have been imprisoned for various reasons. They had difficult conditions for marriage.

The Iranian documentary has also been screened at the 46th Austria Festival of Nations, the 2018 International Festival of Ethnographic Film in Serbia, and the 5th Hanoi International Film Festival in Vietnam.
